Family Membership Benefits

 

Indianhead Sheep Breeders Association regular membership is available to sheep producers and supporting businesses located in the 22 county Indianhead Region of Northwest Wisconsin. Counties include Ashland, Barron, Burnett, Bayfield, Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Iron, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, St. Croix, Taylor, Trempealeau, and Washburn.  Associate membership is available to anyone in the United States and carries the same privileges as regular membership with the exception of serving on the board of directors or election of board members.  Membership benefits are as follows:

 

             -   Publication of a quarterly newsletter The Shepherd’s Bulletin

             -   Club Lamb and Registered Breeding Stock Consignments in our Annual Spring Sale in April

             -   Publication of an annual Shepherd’s Directory with member contact information and sheep breeds or affiliation

             -   Annual Shepherd’s Clinic and Trade Show in February including a wide variety of topics presented by some of the                                 most highly regarded sheep experts in the nation, silent and live auctions, youth and beginner program, and, roast                             lamb and chicken luncheon

             -   Annual fall membership Picnic and Field Day

             -   Scholarships to youth members entering or attending post-secondary education institutions

             -   Sponsorship of numerous sheep related youth and educational events and awards

             -   Representation in sheep related government affairs

             -   Free classified advertisements in our newsletter and on our website when space allows

Available network of sheep producers and businesses providing a valuable resource for knowledge and assistance

 

Regular family membership is available for one year at $15.00, two years at $28.00, or three years at $40.00.  Associate family membership is available yearly at $10.00.  A downloadable membership application for new members and existing member renewal may be found on this page.
